Reviews and Ratings
The shower was powerful and complimentary, though the front room faced a busy road without causing any disturbance.
The hotel had spotless rooms, though overlooking a busy junction causing some noise. The road noise was quite loud, but overall, it was a nice place to stay. The service was wonderful and very helpful, except for a lack of assistance in one instance. The location was excellent for walks and access to Peak District National Park, offering free parking and modern spacious rooms. The dining experience was enjoyable, with delicious food but some timing issues.
The hotel overlooks the intersection and is handy for the station and local walks. The rooms were larger than expected, extremely well kitted out, clean, and stylish, with a very good bathroom and a lovely, very comfortable bed. The staff were all very helpful and welcoming, making the service lovely. Despite some traffic noise, the rooms exceeded expectations in terms of size and amenities.
